the other day mum suggested going for supper at the newly opened teochew porridge outlet off thomson road, in the end dad brought us to have taiwan porridge instead. i only ate the dishes because i'm currently on a rice-free diet :)

the total bill came up to around $90. we could have spend less than 1/4 of that amount if we went to thomson instead.
