Year 2 has officially ended on a happy (hopefully) note. Although the thought of the massive workload and late night mugging still send shivers down my spine, I'm really glad to have held on till today.

The saying, "the minute you think of giving up, think of the reason why you held on so long," motivated me somehow and I told myself that no matter how tough uni life is going to be, I will conquer it.

I don't want to waste my parents' hard-earned money by taking uni life too lightly. I do admit that I don't put in enough effort at times, resulting in me dwelling on my poor grades all day long. Prof Comm mid-term has already taught me a lesson.

I've decided to take all year 3 modules next trimester despite an outstanding year 2 module + 1 elective (depending on the pre-requisites involved). I thought it would be good to clear the killer modules before I fly in April. And then when I'm back, I'll take the lighter modules to end my last trimester for year 3.

Actions speak louder than words, uh huh. I seriously hope I can buck up and be more hardworking so as not to disappoint myself anymore. I shall make this one of my new year's resolution.

In the meantime, I'm gonna work as much as I can to make up for my dying back account.
